Miyeon has responded herself about the rumours. She has left yg not because of the dating rumour (which yes is only a rumour) but because the debut of pinkpunk (blackpink’s original name) has delayed again and again. Miyeon left yg since there seemed to not be any hope to debut. Later, she passed cube’s audition and was immediately added to the lineup of (G)I-DLE
Another fun fact: before miyeon, there was another girl in the lineup of (G)I-DLE whose position was allegedly the main vocal and visual, but left suddenly (this information was shared by Yuqi) This was probably why Miyeon was chosen to be the sixth member. Also at first, all members of (G)I-DLE were reluctant about Miyeon’s joining of the line-up, but soon after they became friends and now they’re like sisters💜
