I like the clean container idea for the greaser!

Really enjoy your videos, Brian, and especially like that you display strong moral character and concern for safety of those who might attempt the repairs or maintenance tips you show. Also love your humility and open appreciation for the viewers who send you plates. You are the kind of man I would be proud to associate with and call my friend. God bless you, Brian. Cheers! 😎

18 wheelers got rid of "inboard drums" in the eighties I believe. Outboard drums were always a piece of cake. Done my share of "brakes" boy oh boy....
Can not emphasize enough the proper reinstallation of the 1) first nut, 2) WASHER WITH PIN and locking tab for first nut! That washer will line up in four different positions with the groove in the axle, bit the pin will only line up perfectly with the hole in the inner nut in one position. 3) Second (outer nut) is the one to really tighten.

Its always good to put a wheel nut on till its flush then hit the studs out, that way you dont round over and mushroom the end of the stud and the lug nut wont go over after
Been there, done that on my D250

your absolutely right about the age at least being one major factor when giving out something that can empower them to speed. Keep up the great work. And I hope you get Rhode Island soon.

I appreciate your detail to being clean. I'm the same way. Plus I hate having to clean up when a job is done. A little precaution during the job is worth the little-to-no clean up time afterwards imo.

i like to leave the brakes on while i take the spindle nuts and hubs out, calipers come off right before the rotor,

An easier way to pull the inner bearing and seal is to take the 2 spindle nuts off, pull the outer bearing, put the outer spindle nut on a few threads, and yank the bearing and seal out against the nut. Save's a little time.

I can disassemble, clean, repack and assemble these hubs like its nobody's business. went from the Dana50TTB to Dana 60 and used those hubs for the Dana 60. Auto hubs are great, if they have clean grease. forum followers hate those hubs.

if it's any consolation, I don't think you screwed up Bri. It shows great consideration instead... and why would you want to send an item to someone who can't legally use it anyway? Thumbs up on the video!

nissan xterra is another with captive rotors

is there another way to remove the studs? Because you could mushroom the ends hammering them or damage the threads.
