Tying a scud pattern using clear stretch cord and uv resin

Nice! I have many spools of that cord. I haven't seen legs done like that before, but almost 100% of my fishing has been Freestone rivers, so I have not paid enough attention to Scud patterns. Thanks Wes!!

Love the technique. Think you could get a faster and more uniform tie of the legs by using 1-1/2 strands of Antron spread to length of body. Clip ends of antron with stationary clips to keep fibers parallel between clips. Hang antron "ribbon" across entire body and pull down slightly. This will seat fibers in grooves along entire body so you can put resin on top in one step. Antron will slip in clips to give uniform tension along the slightly curved body.
