JBL PRX ONE iPhone remote issues - JBL Pro Connect app

10-20-21 update. JBL tech support had me do a firmware update from 5.04 to 5.09. This update compromised my bluetooth connectivity ... speaker will no longer pair with my iPhone. I was told they are still working through bugs ... why would JBL ship out a product with known bugs? I've requested Sweetwater to send a return tag. JBL let us down. I bought an EV Evolve 50M instead and am so much happier with its performance, sound and Bluetooth connectivity. The larger 3.5 inch drivers (8 of them) make for a much smoother sound than the harshness of the JBL PRS ONE 2.5 inch drivers (10).
JBL PRX ONE iPhone remote issues (iPhone 11 Pro Max) ... problems indexed via minute markers:
0:10 Initial BT Pairing & Mixer Issues (difficult/impossible to get sliders to move on iPhone JBL app)
3:15 EQ Preset Issues (can't access presets from iPhone and each and every individual EQ change requires a save)
4:50 Skipping EQ Controller? Probably just the nature of digital controllers.
5:43 EV Evolve 30M app - no remote issues
6:36 Mackie SRM app - no remote issues
* Same issues were noted on our iPhone SE. IOS 14.8 on both iPhones *
* The iPhone 11 Pro Max does NOT have a protective screen that could interfere with the sliders *
* Firmware updated to 5.04 and reset already done *
* I will point out that there were no issues with the other JBL EON speaker app *
* In the video I am right by the speaker so there should be absolutely no BT connectivity issues *
* These issues have been consistent with any location the speaker is sitting *
* The Apple App store gives the JBL Pro Connect app a 2.5 out of 5 rating - similar issues *
