Dude, you Rock!! And you're right. Inkscape is an Excellent program and not only bc it's free. How do I reset the Trace Bitmap back to default? I messed w a bunch of the options. Thanks.

I can't thank you enough for this...and it was very timely. My district asked me this morning if it was possible for me to convert our logo to a vector.  I would not have been successfully without your tutorial. Though I had to use 11 scans as our tiger logo had multiple colors in it.  Will it be problematic that I could not successful reduce the number of scans? I tried but the tiger simply didn't look right.

I saw another video which advised me to use Inkscape. I downloaded the program to my Mac and I needed to download another program called x11 from the apple website & when I opened both programs Inkscape opened in Polish. Do u have any advice how to change the language to English?

I have an image which is a graph with some legend and text in it, when convert it using the procedure above, after clicking update and OK button, the converted image gets blurred. How to fix that?

What if you wanted the teeth to stay white (as a color)? My image has white in it that should follow the image.

Anybody know how to do this with words? I went through all different numbers, goes as high as 256, and the letters don't come out the way I want them to. Still very blurry. The image is just black and red. Can anyone help me with this?

What do you do if you want the white teeth to still be white, but don't want a white background? I ask, as I have a few logos that have a white stroke, but after going through the process of Inkscape, the space where the white was is now just empty.
Can you advise?

I'm trying to do this to a picture with much more than 8 colors. How do I keep the picture from getting very blury?
