I miss the days without hypercharge since a brawlers’s viability wasn’t entirely based in it (it’s better now, a brawler having a hyper used to put them in automatic A tier, but now some are in C)

Now I remember I almost stopped playing during the Pearl update because they removed Gem Grab from being a permanent gamemode. For me it was definitely the worst update.

I really enjoyed Bizarre Circus update. That's mostly because I bought the pass with gems.
Pushing two broken Brawlers and grinding mastery was INCREDIBLY fun, propably some of the most fun I've had playing this game.
Also, all the lore and the season's theme were pretty good.
The hypercharges released that season were super broken and incredibly annoying but they would've been added to the game eventually at some point so that doesn't really matter. They're still annoying, no matter what season we have.

Over all, Bizarre Circus was great for long term players but it sucked for new people. Mega Pig definitely brings it down a bunch of tiers, i hate it. Low tiers deserved.

The Ranger Ranch update was ok. Very controvercial and has lobotomised the meta, the pass brawler had mixed opinions. Fun fact, i named a cat after our (not so much?) beloved oven robot.
Pearl (the brawler) was ok. Decent, kinda versatile for a while, but not too bad or too good now)
Chuck was peak though, GOATed brawler design as well as fun and unique gameplay.

I'm very certain the love for Hank started from memes and wasn't entirely really genuine at first. I'm sure people do like him though. His gameplay is unique compared to most tanks and he was fun at his prime. If only the supercharge wasn't nerfed so much he'd be still decent, especially with the healing from super. He just needs some buffs just to do well in his niche.
Maisie wasn't fun to face and got really unfun over time. Sure, in the Pearl update her HC made her broken, and the meta still favored her, but now she completely fell off and feels clunky to play. She IS NOT a marksman class.
Bling and daily star drops were great though.
Decent update but not even close to my favorite.

Mystery at the Hub was fun mostly cause R-T was fun. Masteries acctually helped me and everyone a ton with progression.
....And that's about it.
I wish they elaborated more on the theme of the season cause there really wasn't any mystery. Spike wasn't gone in game, nor was there any event referencing it.
There wasn't even any animation where they acctually find and save him (I like to think Willow kidnapped him).
Pretty good update.

The Enchanted Forest was an incredible season mostly because of Cordelius. Such a great brawler and one of my faves. That's it, i don't remember liking much else. The loading screen wasn't good looking because of the different art style.

That percentage update to upgrading brawlers was the worst thing I’ve heard in my life. Playing anything under level 11 above say 500-600 trophies in 3v3 ladder or ranked is just throwing. You can only play showdown and even then you’ll be hunted down when you are shown to be weaker. Playing level 1s is just masochism and hiding in bushes. So much gameplay for f2p players
