I'm from a society where a female is frowned upon if she is older than her boyfriend and she gets dumped with this excuse. Not to mention the social pressure if you are certain age and still not married. The social pressure makes your family worry which makes you worry about them in turn. It's like you are running out of time and can't do anything about it. Every new year and birthdays makes even more sad.
