Quick and easy Tuna Pie, RECIPE ⤵️⤵️

Ingredients:
1 large onion
1 medium carrot
1-2 stalks celery
1-2 tbsp – olive oil
1 canned tuna (270g)
2 sheets puff pastry (375g / about 13.3 ounces)
⅓ tsp - salt, ¼ tsp - pepper or to taste
5-6 – olives (optional)
Sesame seeds (optional)

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.
Add finely chopped onion and carrot and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
Stir in celery and cook for 2 minutes.
Drain 1 can of tuna and add in the pan. Season with salt and pepper, add sliced olives. Stir to combine.
Remove from the heat and leave to cool slightly.

Heat the oven to 380F/190C.

Divide the pastry in half and roll each half into rectangle (30 x 23cm / 11.5 x 9 inch).
Spoon the tuna filling onto the first half pastry and cover with remaining half. Press with fork tines to seal.
Brush with the egg, sprinkle sesame seeds over the top (optional).
Make shallow slashes in the top of the pie.
