I have owned the Xduoo XA-10 for several months now and can confirm it has a very clean sound definitely not warm to my ears. My buttons all perform perfectly. Not sure about the 4w @32ohm claim but like you my Argon mk3s are powered to thier full potential in balanced at high gain. The unit is a tiny powerhouse and a perfect bedside companion. I have mine set up by my couch Bluetooth connected to my living room TV. Perfect for late Night movies gaming and music sessions with the headphone of my choice

i honestly hate ASR SO MUCH! their community is so hateful and all about measurements. These people legit judge a product just by measurements and don't listen beforehand. Then when the product is a hit they completely turn around and give some bullshit why it sounds good. I've been at this a long time. Measurements aren't everything.

Other reviewers already moved on from this device. Like usual. Now hyping up the K9pro. Several reviewers said the XA-10 to be warm sounding. I dunno what these people are hearing. Every time I compared dac amps I hear no differences.

How would this amp compare to RNHP amp ? I have smsl d300 dac with smsl sh 8s amp and my primary headphones are lsa hp 2 ( kennerton gh50) and thinking about trying either new amp like RNHP or maybe this xduoo xa 10 for more dynamic punchy sound . What would you recommend ?

I am looking for something to tame the trebles of the He1000SE. A dac/amp if possible. Let’s say a warm one. Any suggestions?

I think balanced/differential line out is more important than balanced headphone out. Bummer

Interesting review, pity you didn't compare a little with the earmen, about output power, I have tr-amp too and I'm waiting for the hifiman xs and looking for True 3w into 32 ohms cause I've read it's ideal for the Xs, This One seemed the Chosen One, but now I have doubts! What would you suggest or think about it to match the Hifiman?

Ohh nice you're trying out the HEDDphone. I have been eyeing that headphone for a while now.

Edit: since in the end you're saying that XA-10 is not worth it for its price since it offers nothing new, any other recommendation amp+dac combo or seperate amp+dac stack that is worth its value and still able to drive the HEDDphone no problem with plenty of headroom left?

What will be the utility of a DAC/headphone amp unit having Bluetooth transmission capability? I do not see the point of it having one honestly.

i doubt your testing method and conclusions of this Xduoo because it deserves kudos everywhere.

Audio science review tested the performance of the amplifier. Whether they went into the auxiliary input or through the DAC is irrelevant. What they are testing is the performance of the electronics in the amplifier which has absolutely nothing to do with the signal path.
