You can buy 6 at a time, anytime brother. 😆 Thanks for catching the instruction note on the 1+2, it will back up in "N" with the brake button too. In fact, most of our various T400 brakes will work that way.
A little background on the PN - all of our transbrakes have historically ended in "748." RMVB "148" and FMVB "248." All the Turbo 400 parts start with a "2, " Powerglides are "1, " etc. As we developed new parts, features, etc. I tried to devise something that would be fairly consistent. The "A" originated from the most obvious of places - aluminum - after the substrate the valvebody was made out of. The "B" came about when I needed slight variations to aluminum parts - B for billet. So 22748 was iron pro brake, 22748A is an aluminum (technically billet) 1st gear brake - instant release, 22748B is a billet 1st gear pro brake (identical in function and design intent to the iron pro brake). In hindsight I would have changed the numbering scheme a little, but we never planned on making so many different variations.
As always, we appreciate your kind words Shawn. You are a true gentleman, and a valuable asset to the industry and the car community as a whole.

I had a local shop build me a th400 with a brake. It lasted about 100 miles so after watching your videos I pulled it apart, found a few of their mistakes and it’s pretty close to going back in the car. Thank you for your videos and all the details you point out.
Next time I need a transmission I’m going to you. It will be well worth the 5 hour drive.

Any person who values themselves will always strive to keep learning throughout their life.
Personally I hate my brain being stagnant so when my curiosity kicks in i love learning new things no matter how trivial it may be...or complicated. Your never too old to learn.
We had some HS kids come into the dealership one day to learn about fixing cars. I was the only one who's "apprentice" got his hands dirty plus his brains a workout figuring out issues....and he learned something that day...unlike his classmates who spent the day on their phones.
I felt good and hoped that kid took home some valuable insight on what he would be in for if he took this course in life.
It's nothing to be a parts changer but to find the issue, figure out why something failed, take it apart, correct it and reassemble it properly?...that's a technician.

Great video! I am strongly considering this trans brake for my street/strip Chevelle. I will probably call them tomorrow. Looks simple enough install. I'm not sure my transmission guy is aware of this unit. He does a lot of performance stuff so, he should be. He's been building for 45 years now. Semi retired but, still busy as hell. He's doing a few transmissions for one of the popular Monster Truck guys right now so, I'm in line and gives me time to research this stuff. Thanks again

Lets see a video of your process of tearing down a cruddy transmission.. those are always satisfying to watch.. or maybe if the trans is suspected to be bad maybe you could find the culprit during the tear down and what youd replace the stocks parts as you tear down
