I work in an inbound mostly cs but some sales(requotes) for a big insurance company and im wanting to go independent but its always seemed top overwhelming to do without 100 grand to build out the infrastructure but with remote work being the new norm i really think i can make this happen. I have 2 yrs experience at this point. I also only do personal lines right now and have no commercial experience so im wondering how i could really amp up my knowledge there so i could focus on selling a lot more commercial policies. Hey there! I’m looking to start my agency from scratch. Already a licensed agent working as a producer under an agent. My biggest problem right now is how do you pay your living expenses while building this agency, poor credit, and live paycheck to paycheck which means a loan is out the picture. A second job at night is the only thing I can think of. Thoughts?
