I like to imagine the black screen is Tango talking to Jimmy, while they’re both dead. Waiting for Jimmy to pass on so he can also. Maybe in their afterlife Tango will wake up in a wonderful rendition of the Ranch, and he and Jimmy will enjoy a breakfast of pancakes and fruits, with ingredients from the ranch, together. Maybe they’ll spend their afternoons raising the horses and the goats and the cows without a worry that everything they’ve built will disappear. Maybe, there, the world will be kinder to them than it was in Double Life.
