Far-Right Protesters Storm Israeli Army Bases

Protesters and far-right lawmakers stormed two Israeli army bases on Monday. The protests were sparked by the arrests of soldiers at Sde Teiman, where suspected Hamas fighters who carried out the Oct. 7 attacks are being held. Bloomberg's Joumanna Bercetche reports.

The story: Reservists were detained in connection with abuses of prisoners that included s3xual assault and r4p3...Shortly after, hundreds of protesters arrived at the base, among them several lawmakers trying to protect and release the detainees...They later broke into the court and tried breaking into the detention center to release the reservists, while mayhem erupted in the midst.
