Just stumbled across your videos by accident and as a high school music teacher myself, I have to say you're a fantastic tutor. Great work!

So I tried tip 1 and tried to sing the guitar solo to Metallica's One. There is something wrong with my voice now...

The best thing ever is when you're improvising with someone and you're both perfectly in sync with eachother and you just give eachother a look and you both know exactly what to do and when then do it.... it's magical

That last part you said was spot on. That point where everyone is at the same place, same time, same dimension is amazing. Everyone giving just enough space for everyone. It's magic.

My all time favorite solo is Little wing by hendrix, that man really bring his guitar alive and she cries like a fucking dying person, it has power, emotion and really feels like an another entity is on stage performing, that solo has it's own existence

One of my favorite solos is from One of These Nights by the Eagles. It has a great feel that fits very well into the music style, it's melodic, makes use of the mid and high range of the instrument, and makes great use of spacing in such a way that you can appreciate every note as part of the story that's being told. That song is just really groovy :)

Oh man that singing one has helped me find a different gear. I used to just try and connect random licks, the singing along is good for finding ways to connect them! Great tip thanks!! 👍🏻

I play for ten years, I teach people sometimes, record so I don't really look for tutorial videos of how to play. But your channel impressed me, it's something else, the notions are much deeper and easly explained, the theme is funny. And when you said John Frusciante californication... I'm sold. You are the guitar teacher I always wanted but never get. And that I never knew I needed. Awesome job. Thanks for that.
