I love the old fashion way the propeller is attached to the motor with a rubber band!

I remember the times when (brushed) electric motors couldn't generate enough power to lift their own weight off the ground using a prop.

На самом деле тяга ещё больше, т.к. платформа весов частично препятствует набегающему воздушному потоку.

I made them in my youth, but without a device, just an antenna. It was my life's dream ❤❤❤❤

When the weighmachine indiacates the amount of weight while the motor is switched on upon it "does that mean' that motor can help in flying the body which is under that weight .?

Завидую вам! Вы такие счастливые! В детство уходите! А я тут на финике FX37S работаю, летаю между городами со скоростью почаще 200 км/ч и выше, а вы тут самолётики запускаете, кайфуете

1.44 pounds of thrust, not bad from that small a motor.

Thanks for the test of this motor! I'm about to use one in a twisted hobbys 30" Pitts. What prop are you using in the video?

It probably doesn’t matter for what you’re doing, but I suspect you’d get higher thrust numbers if you had some sort of a stand to hold the motor up away from the scale and desktop. I think that’d let more air get in around the back of the propeller.
