Joycons not charging or connecting ? (try this quick fix)

Hey everyone I finally got a better camera that can record 1080p 60 FPS and 4K 30 FPS so I’m excited for the jump in video quality 😄

while i was watching this vid i got sick of waiting so i busted out my toolkit, opened it up, and to my annoyance i must've dropped it somehow and my battery connector was disconnected. I plugged it back in, and boom. I'm glad your video popped up because it motivated me to get inside the controller :D

My both joycons have issue can’t sync on even can’t charge or connect on my console what I should I do ?

Mine is left joycon cannot be detected, Can't connect.

My left joycon is the one that’s been giving me the most issues. For months now it’s been on the red battery signal. My switch recognises it when it’s connected but it doesn’t charge. I tried this method and it worked for about 2 seconds, but when it did, it showed the icon to be green and fully charged? After that it quickly went white then decreased back to the red low battery icon. I’m not sure what else to do since my switch isn’t within warranty anymore. Also every time I take the joycon off the switch it tells me it’s on low battery but it never fully dies. Any advice?

I thought that my switch was broken until you said to brush under the thing, If you look under the dark rectangle and put a flash light, it’s normal. I did that, HALF OF IT WAS COVERED BY DUST. Just cant believe the about of dust inside of the console! thanks so much.

From what I found out that this issue is temporarily fixed if you disconnected the controller then hard restart your switch and then pair it again but if you disconnected it from the switch and reconnect it several times it will go back to doing that

I’m not sure how to word this but I hope you see this since I really would like to know, and I apologize if I word this oddly. I have hours played on one game but it’s on a physical game card, and I lost the game card, therefore I can’t play. I was wondering if I download the game from the Nintendo e shop and play it with the same profile if all my progress would still be there? so i did this and even opened up my right joycon. i bought a charging dock for my joycons to ensure they can charge and sync while attached to the console, however its not even charging on the separate charging dock. any ideas as to what the problem could be? Should i try using the battery from the other joycon and see if that works? I'm stumped and need help getting it to work before my shell swap kit arrives

I literally dont know what to do my dog spilled something sticky in my switch and I've been having issues ever since, the fan is as loud as a mac book, the left joycon wont play went completely attached to the main console and now the right joycon wont connect to the main console at all and it keeps saying battery depleted. The little click feature on the right side refuses to show up aswell even though it shows up on the left what should I do?

I don’t have a Nintendo but I got some joycons to use on my pc!! They worked just fine until they died!! So I slipped a charging grip to charge them!! Plugged it into the wall, and the lights just flash and turn off, orange charge light is on than gos off after 10 minutes!!

My pc says their ultra low on battery, and they die instantly now!! Why can’t I just slip them in the grip and charge them like a normal controller?

my problem is that neither of my controllers work for 2 different reasons and the left joycon is the one with the problem that seems to not happen to anyone else

my left joycon connects when attached to the switch but when removed from the switch it gets disconnected and the pairing lights thingy show up but dont connect and my right joycon just doesnt turn on

It didn't work :( my joy con registers when I slide it in but it's battery is always red and when take it and hole the sync button it doesn't turn on. So is it dead? And how can make it work again?
