all food companies are doing this - price gouging and blame "inflation"

hustlecrowe

They want to call it inflation while projecting a 13% PROFIT increase. If that's not greed, I don't know what is

We all need to step up and stop buying these products. If people do not buy them believe me the prices will go down. To many people do not compare prices and just grab stuff off the shelves no matter what the store is charging for it.

They have to pay their executives millions and millions of dollars, so they rip off their customers. We are the marks in their grift. Drink up!

it is not just pepsi co...the price of EVERYTHING has almost doubled since January 2020 for some mysterious reason.

Have to agree about the potato chips. $5.99 for a tiny little bag of what probably amounts to two or three potatoes?

I dont drink to much soda but i shop at Aldi so i get off name sodas anyway. The people should thinl twice before buying products that are just overpriced. Sooner or later the manufacturer will learn their lesson. THEY need us more than we need them. The people always have alternative choices, they dont. 🙏❤😡

What a great CEO. If a company like Publix did this here I would be a loyal customer to them. Pepsi goes flat within 15 minutes of opening and isn’t worth the hike anyway.

Lipton tea has gotten ridiculous in price. I switched to another brand at half the cost.

IMO, soft drink companies have been one of the biggest abusers of “raising prices because we can”………😡

I have responded by finding store brand alternatives and only buying name brands when they go on sale as a “loss leader” for my local grocery store……..👍

People have a choice to buy cheaper sugar water. Lays chips are outta sight too

I have always used the higher prices to help me cut down on my sugar and processed food intake.
I don't care how high prices are for food and drinks like this.
They're not healthy to eat and drink all the time.

I never let them get in my house.I ll stick with water, tea coffee.

I rarely drink soda now, but I have always found Pepsi to be cheaper than the alternatives. When I worked in retail I would recommend them. Heck, a 6 pack now is 3.29 vs 5.99/6.49 for CokeACola.

Who cares Pepsi is allowed to make profit. If you don’t agree then don’t buy the product. Don’t have it taken away from people who will pay the price.
Trying to have it removed completely is an ass move.
