Yeah... I know, I know. The most offensive crime is to call on people to stand up to express their independence and free-e-e-e.... dom! It's a road that leads straight to chaos and mutual obliteration! I... I just knew not what I was doing... But I understand now. If you give me a chance, I will tell them all right now. Hey you! Did you really think my true mission to awaken your independence? Are you totally stupid?! The mass' destiny is to be obedient and to harbor illusions and fears. If you mishandle freedom, it will tear you to bits! Be afraid of freedom! Be afraid... Well, did I say everything right Huh?

And now here's what I really think about all of this stuff. The truth is that life has one small but vital element. Eventually children grow up. Well, they become a bit bigger, bit freer, bit more educated than their fathers. Understand? They don't want to stand in endless lines, and get you another beer and carry away of garbage. Children want something more than that, but Dad replies that he's not interested in the opinion of a spoiled little freedom-loving snot-nose. He wants you to be an "a" - a face in the crowd, a sheep, and not THE individual YOU are.

The idea is simple. The system controls you as long as you are all the same. But if everyone starts thinking outside the box, the system won't have enough rules, or methods, or hands to spank each and every one. You are torn between the romanticism of stubborn opposition and the desire to adapt and survive. And that's right when you get a sock on the jaw. "You're just a speck. Go back to the end of the line! " But pay attention, the most subtle and highest revolt is nothing more than the ability in any situation to remain true... to yourself... and proudly carry your identity, like a flag. And this has nothing to do with a sense of self-importance. One can remain big while remaining small. I forgot whose quote that is.

Yes-yes. Exactly. It's from simple to complicated. As a first step write I, Me and Mine everywhere you possibly can with big uppercase letters. In documents, e-mails, blogs and articles... Everywhere! It's so easy! But soon you'll discover... how difficult it is! Because it will start raising questions. But to all the rest of you I repeat Be afraid of freedom! It's capable of...

Interesting detail at 0:23 he is taking tbe hanged man pose. A fitting card as the hanged man represents
Pause, surrender, letting go, new perspective.

However he starts right side up which is the inverted hanged man which means
Delays, resistance, stalling, indecision

The hanged man card shows a image of a man hanging himself upsidedown on a tree clearly on purpose based on his face, he is a reference to Odin and how he hung himself from the branches of the world tree to gain knowledge and wisdom.

For Mister Freeman a most fitting card dont you think?

The usual entertainment media is so superficial which makes this piece of art appear so unusual with its deeper meanings and thoughts. You can't just "mindlessly" watch through the video like people do on youtube shorts. There are so many metaphors and symbols which I think is beautiful. Questioning the system, what world we live in, how enslaved one can be while thinking "but I'm actually free...". It gives me new ideas and new perspectives about things like "prostitutes might just satisfy demand" which is honestly a way I never thought about it.

Freedom is an illusion in a selfish world, you want freedom? What's the cost? You might think you have it but do you really? Just because you can make you're own decisions you think you're free? You're still bound by your own faults.
That's where it starts your own sinful nature is where the curse of freedom lies, sure you're free.. free to get back up when you fall down but who said you could walk forward? Or a better question is what's stopping you?

I weirdly relate to the beginning of this video when he was talking about how trying to talk to people about how they are free and talking about how nobody really wants to hear it because it scares them.

Because at my college a lot of fellow teenagers party all the time, they get drunk and do druggy, they all think it’s just cool and a normal teenager thing to do, so they all enable each other to act that way again and again, more alcohol and more drugs, just so none of them actually has to think about their reality because it’s so much easier to follow the ground instead of thinking outside the box, because they don’t want to think outside the box because it might scare them, because they just want to hide from it all and pretend the bad things in life aren’t happening. So that is why some people don’t like me at college, because I speak my mind and speak the true but harsh reality, because none of them want to break out of the negative life style that could destroy them because if they try to break out they will have to realize that it is wrong. I am the only one that will actually say it and that scares them which is why they dislike me when it comes to me speaking my mind about things like that.

The part at the end that speaks about writing I, ME, MYSELF, MY, MINE, etc in all caps is what caught my attention. It makes you question not only yourself but the things/concepts that you claim personal ownership over. By claiming possession of these things, are we not possessed by them simultaneously?
