Palmreaders? Japan team builds second skin message display

Japanese scientists unveiled on Sunday their newest version of "electronic skin". The band-aid-like patch is just one millimeter thick and can monitor health data as well as send and receive messages. It includes a flexible LED display that bends with the skin and shows vital signs like one's heartbeat. The invention is a boon for medical professionals with bed-ridden patients.
