It’s a shame these people scam others taking advantage of their nice characters. It’s not all about money, imagine next time someone actually need help, they will not do it. Scammers are really low life of community.

What worked for me: just act really angry (even if you are not), don't smile or act friendly like a naive tourist. Always worked for me in Turkey, especially to get much better prices in stores. High price? Get angry. 😜 They always asked me not to leave and prices suddenly dropped significantly.

Or just dont give people money for services you dont intend to buy.
If they insist on giving you the service even after you have denied then dont pay.
Show them some america and theyll leave you alone. If they dont, direct them to the nearest hospital.

I've watched a lot of videos of people warning about scams and hustles. Now I may just be mean but even in a strange city and country I feel like laughing at someone for tryna charge me abhorrent prices and saying no in the first place would be no more difficult than it is at home. Not to mention police in a lot of the countries would probably be on your side if you refused to pay and they tried threatening cops. I know many countries they can get aggressive though so best to avoid it at all

Today I was almost scammed by thos trick. He offered a shine and I suspected this might be a scam. This proof that my hunch was right
