Tubby Smith took questions about his return to Kentucky with High Point.

Love Tubby Smith!! Here's his track record at UK. He accumulated 100 wins quicker than any other Kentucky coach other than Adolph Rupp at the time. He won a National Championship. He won five Conference Tournament Championships. He brought us to the Tournament every year he was with us and quite a few of his players went on to have very successful careers in the NBA such as Tayshaun Prince and Rajon Rondo. Thanks for the memories Tubby!!!

I just want to thank the BBN and our fan base all the way from Barranco, Lima, Peru! I want to thank Coach Cal and his staff for dressing like a pro as I miss the suit and I think it should always be worn, as the saying goes, ”if you look good you play good etc. Cal, your heart is so big and to do this for our man Coach O. Tubby Smith is just a class act as you suited up Italian Stallion Armani style. Coach Chin, had said, ”I’m tired of wearing these rugs for clothes (the Bob Huggins look) So Cal dressed up like Tubby. Coach J. Vincent Calipari please keep wearing the suit as I think we will win it all and I don’t want you to look like Huggins or that constipated man @ *uk*.
For Tubby, loved you, 11 Saul Smith, and all of your teams with UK. Too bad it was a bad move on Coach BCG as a hire ( he beat UofL Pitino) in the tournament with Texas A&M so we hired him and let you go? I was at that game where you started Brandon Stockton along with the bench players as a point to your team. I liked the idea but I guess it was meant to be for you to move on. Love your family and Donna. I loved that comment for Larry, “ you wearing a wig man? That is Tubby man. What a class act. I wish the best for you and you donated over a million dollars for your school to have a new arena, so you have done everything your father taught you and have set up Highpoint to have a good team in the future. So retire well and remember your name is up there alongside Pitino’s, Bill’s and ole Ledfords. That’s amazing.
