I can't believe so many people are questioning this decision. They were more than patient with Tubby and they didn't get one Sweet 16 in 6 seasons.

Mixed feelings about Tubby Smith's departure - I thought he was a class-act, but his results ended up mixed at best.

The finances are not pretty, but Tubby was not the answer here. Over the last two years his deficiencies became increasingly apparent and increasingly frustrated.
