BBC Two - New Curve Idents Montage (27th September 2018 - Present)

I will miss the famous "2", but this is a worthy successor. Significantly better than the dreck over on BBC One.

I love the 1991 2s, but they had very much had their day, including the recent welcome return... But these look fresh and elegant, and I for one am pleased with them.

The more I watch them, the better I like them. I especially like the ones that resemble flickering pages! There are one or two that I'm not too keen of, but I'm sure they'll grow on me.

Finally! BBC Two has modernized its on-air identity as well as its idents. This is cool and visionary.

Since 2018, a simplification of the 2 resembles a curved wave.

The BBC article promises 16 new idents, but the video (on the BBC, and here) only show 14. So I guess the other two are either:
2 Christmas idents,
1 Christmas and 1 New Year OR
1 Christmas and 1 'something else tied into a special event or niche'.

I like these idents. Not spectacular, but beautiful and quite captivating. Good update, and best ident package of recent times.

If BBC Two made a CBBC variant (used on Saturday mornings at six-thirty o'clock) of this new ident (at 0:14) that has the colors of the 2016 CBBC logo (including the right lines are green, pink, aqua and orange and the left background is dark purple) and the BBC Two announcers are replaced as announcer by CBBC stars, such as Susan Calman (Top Class), Naomi Wilkinson (Marrying Mum and Dad), Ed Petrie (All Over the Place), Lauren Layfield (The Dengineers) and Richard "Dick" McCourt (Absolute Genius).

The first one sorta reminds of the Samsung Galaxy.

Wow! This is not boring as usual, but it's nice and clean for a curve motif resembling the number 2 (when I see good for my eyes; similar to the 2005-2012 Yle TV2 logo)!

We need the curve and the 2 for a crossover ID, it would be perfect and bring back the perfect 2.
