Welcome to my channel! This is Andy from I love languages. Let's learn different languages/dialects together.

Bengali is an Indo-Aryan language from the Indo-European language family, native to the Bengal region of South Asia. With over 281 million speakers, it is the fifth most spoken native language and the seventh most spoken language worldwide. Bengali is the official, national, and most widely spoken language of Bangladesh, with 98% of Bangladeshis using it as their first language. In India, it is the second-most widely spoken language and the official language of the states of West Bengal, Tripura, and the Barak Valley region of Assam.

Odia is an Indo-Aryan classical language spoken primarily in the Indian state of Odisha, where it is the official language and spoken by 82% of the population. It is also spoken in parts of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Odia is one of India's many official languages, serving as the official language of Odisha and the second official language of Jharkhand. It was designated as a classical language due to its long literary history and minimal borrowing from other languages. The earliest known inscription in Odia dates back to the 10th century CE.

This video is created for educational, language awareness, and language preservation purposes. It aims to provide valuable insights and knowledge to viewers, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of different languages and their unique characteristics. By raising awareness about linguistic diversity, the video seeks to foster a greater respect and recognition for various languages, particularly those that are endangered or underrepresented. Additionally, it contributes to the preservation of languages by documenting and sharing linguistic knowledge, thus ensuring that these languages and their cultural heritage are not lost to future generations.

Its pronounced Bengoli in English, not Bengaali. The flag used is of Bangladesh and doesnt really represent Bengalis specifically. And definitely not all Bengalis since 40% of the speakers are in India.

Both are actually assimilated North Dravidian and Vedda. Lord Jagannath worshiped by the Odias is not found anywhere else in India, including the Southern Dravidian states, which is strong evidence of their Vedda tribal origin.

By the way, the native Veddas had brown and black skin. The white Aryans only immigrated there around 500 BC onwards.
