My dogs have never really seem to care if someone was upset or anything but I started crying one night and just kindafell to the floor and both my dogs were by me trying to lick my face while the nervously wagged their tail, it made me feel better instantly

Im white and i have never found one that matched my skin tone. They are always cigarette filter brown.

That last one affirms what I've always suspected. I grew up alongside a wonderful dog. He was highly intelligent, loyal to those who treated him well, and I love him like a brother. We saw how smart he was over and over throughout his lifespan. He was still learning new tricks at the age of 14. He greeted a member of my family with excitement over 13 years after he'd last seen her as a puppy. It's been a few years since he passed away at the venerable age of 16. He was a pretty big dog, and we were surprised when he outlived all of his siblings by five years. A part of me wondered if he also saw me as his sibling. He acted like he did, but I wondered if I was misinterpreting evidence of a pack hierarchy he perceived in our family. Now I know he loved me as much as I loved and continue to love him, and that is the best present I will get this festive season by far.
