Not in New York. There is a state wide grace period of 5 days required by law.

I take full advantage of the grace period if I'm late I'm going to take another month to pay

And this why we have to cut the middle man and practice more ownership because if everybody owns a home we don’t need to hear things like this especially during inflation

My tenant always have excuses to pay me on the 3rd, but lease says due day is on or before the 1th, can I give them a 30 days to vacate even I received the rent for this month ? I don’t feel comfortable lease to them anymore
