Do you know how to disable auto follow on fb? Whenever I accept a friend request it automatically follows them and I want to disable the auto follow option but cant find it. ( I am using a desktop)

Public button is greyed out even after making sure nothing is set to private (as per previous posters' issues). FB may have changed their rules sine you posted this? Thanks....

This is outdated, the Like button automatically adds people to your followers list now.

Mine is already on public and I still have not follow button and I even sent Facebook a message and I still don’t have a follow button. For being a billion dollar app there should be no reason us people need to do this it should already be there. So much of my time being wasted outrageous.
