Ty for this, We were given a Nuvi 40 with maps dated 2012. Seems to work. I live in the UK so the maps are a lot smaller. I tried installing the maps on the internal storage, it just about fits but it doesn't recognise it? It does work on my SD card though. Any ideas? Not a big deal I guess. :)

Hi, did you delete the original "old" map that was loaded on the nuvi? Wondering how you had no map upon boot. Do I need to delete it from my old 200w to add a new downloaded map?

Maybe a strange question, bul will this also work om a Zumo 550? It is quite old, but it would be great to get the maps up to date

hey, so I have downloaded entire USA map. But, somehow instead of *img file it downloads different folders and all the folders amount to about 4GB. I do not see a single *.img file. Any suggestions?

how do you load it to a Nuvi 265w that has not SD slot?
