Unfortunately on VMware Workstation 17 Pro that option is no longer available to turn off. I'll look around for a another fix or possibly see if I can manually edit a config file to stop it.

I have the latest 16 version of VMware and there is no advanced option. Any solution for that?

Bdw, if you could find a workaround for disabling auto suspending in VMware, it would be helpful too. coz editing my vmx file doesnt seem to work.

"It doesn't matter what virtual machine you have" Incorrect, this only applies to VMware workstation, NOT to vmware workstation player where this must be done by editing the VMX directly.
