Building Speak.dev From Scratch In a Day (Next.js, Tailwind, Nexus, Prisma)

At Prisma, we're experimenting with dedicated learning days where we spend time looking into new technologies.

My friend Ado Kukic and I want to build a platform for conference/meetup speakers to track events, manage their speaking profiles, and find more opportunities to speak. We started out on it in the fall of 2019 but it hasn't gone anywhere yet.

The plan for this stream is to get a basic app in place to simply display a list of upcoming events. People will be able to submit events for display.

The technologies I'll use include:

* Prisma
* GraphQL
* Nexus Schema
* Tailwind 2.0

By the end of the stream, I want to have the app deployed to Vercel and ready to accept and display submissions.

Finally, been looking all over for something like this. Been watching alot of your conference talks where you give brief demonstrations of Prisma and integration with Nexus Schema. This exact stack including next-auth is something i'm trying to use for a project. Super greatful for the video! Maybe in future try to tag the technologies in vid? I only found this browsing your yt channel, and knowledge wise this is such a hidden gem.
