A Ukrainian zookeeper evacuated kangaroos and tapirs from a zoo in Kharkiv damaged by Russian shelling. Larger animals like lions and tigers have not yet been able to be evacuated, and the zoo may end up having to euthanize them.

Oh gawd, those kangaroos are so CUTE! Especially that little albino one. I'm glad there are Ukrainians willing to risk their lives in order to protect these animals who have no idea a human war is going on around them. Bless you Ukraine.

Some humans are animals .. some humans are worse then animals because they should know better … Some humans care for animals as much as they do people … and sometimes humans care for animals more then people. This man who risks his life to save animals is a hero. Innocent people and children do not deserve to die … and neither do innocent animals
