It was only in the 6 th century that the church (more precisely: e the narrow-minded theologians of the church) forbade belief in reincarnation. Until then it was quite widespread - althogh not officially accepted.

Every genuine Chrisian saint (meaning close to God and not simply nominally proclaimed by the Church) could spiritually perceive that reincarnation obtains, but it was seen as one of the "secret mysteries" the saints didn't talk about.

So if I have some episodes of real hate then I doing it right? If I wallow in lust, rage, debauchery, vileness, envy, greed, jealousy and such then I'm getting the most out of life? Supposedly we've already had our fill of love, caring, kindness, generosity, service and all forms of goodness before coming here, so no point in wasting time on that stuff. All those negative emotions are pretty much connected with the dark side. Is that what is calling, and should I answer?
