This song describes my youth in a few simpel words and sentences...

Every time I had to come trough the week with just 10 to 15 bucks, walking the streets, asking strangers for something to eat, being laugh at, called darkest words and names and being told to "start working like others!" with 15 years...
It felt so lonesome, so painful.. I can't even find words for all these dark and deep feelings back then..

The pain of getting told how lucky I am, that there are no parents to tell me when to come home and to be able to do what I want and to see their parents picking them up afterwards or if I was at some friends home, seeing their mothers caring for them, asking about their day and how school was, presenting a meal for them, sharing love and live with them..

My heart got priced every single time I saw a functioning family, every time I saw a dad grabbing his little daughters hand, just to be remind of my own dad's suicide, my own mum going nearly insane afterwards, my brother drowning himself in alcohol and reminding myself about me.. Choosing the one path thatt won't destroy us all even further, but myself much harder..

Nothing to eat, nowhere to go and no one to rely on.. And nothing but misunderstanding and harsh judgment anywhere I went..

Yeah... This song is my origin...

These songs in the ep and origins kinda have the same amy lee grunge sound yet they are so different. I dont know how she comes up with so many songs with different rifts but still all heart-tug worthy. I've always been so happy with myself for being able to sing the "who you really are" part of this song pitch perfect. Although my voice sucks its very satisfying to get the notes right in this part.
