Why don’t via do what Amtrak does? When an issue happens bring in a freight locomotive like cn to haul the train at least to the next train station

lolrofl...France high speed rail hit 574km/h back in 2007...Japan is building a high speed maglev rail line that in tests has already gone faster than 600km/h...China has a Maglev that is a distance of 30km and runs at over 300km/hr PLUS are building a 1000km/hr tube maglev...meanwhile in Canada all those carbon taxes the government has collected to reduce our dependence on cars and planes and other forms of pollution has given us THIS! Via rail, 10 hours between Montreal and Quebec City, a distance of 250km, LOLROFL! O CANADA! SMH :(

10 hours?? Poor babies. Try riding Via here on the prairies. 10-20-30 hours late I've been into Edmonton. That's why I won't use them anymore!

Passengers should break the glasses, jump out of the train and start walking. No one can keep me inside a box for more than 2 hours, let alone 10 or 12 hours. This shows how primitive is canada in many areas. Cell phone, Internet, Transportation, public Transit, airplanes, airlines, road conditions, and many other things. It is a shame to live in canada, but when stuck in this stupid country, there is no way to run away.

What a bunch of soft people.
Humans can survive up your 3 days without water and 3 weeks without food. At least they were safe and sheltered.
