Donkeys and their handlers eagerly wait at the port for visitors and tourists who need help transporting their luggages to their hotels. The way most of Greece was a century ago. There are only a few places that still exist nowadays, which means that Island of Hydra is a jewel.

The church is located in the port of Hydra Town. The main characteristic is the tall bell tower which is made of pure marble from Tinos. The church was established in 1643 and hosts a small ecclesiastical museum at present.
