In the choreography, they touch each part that hurts them. Ears, eyes, shoulders, heart, and head.

Also, in the choreo, taehyun and soobin are controlling Kai. Which could mean he's gullible. Which also goes with your theory

Kai and Yeonjun do the pinky promise sign, meaning that they're the only ones keeping the promise they made, still having fun and all, not aware of what's going on in the friend group. They're innocent and naive, as Yeonjun starts the fires and commits terrible things by mistake; every time he joins Boemgyu into having fun he ends up doing something bad.
Boemgyu on the other hand makes the horns sign in the choreography: he's the traitor, corrupted by Soobin (aka the cat) into breaking the group apart, the one who breaks the promise and stays in disguise while causing problems. He's always making sure that Yeonjun follows him creating problems.
_Boemgyu is the one taking everyone to Soobin's house and ringing the doorbell, he was invited by Soobin
_Boemgyu wants cookies (he's the only one shown biting into one) > Yeonjun makes cookies leaving the oven turned on, causing the fire
_Boemgyu starts the fruit fights (blending strawberries, throwing the first tomato and throwing jam at Taehyun) > Yeonjun goes on the table, joins the fruit fights and realizes he's taken them too far only when it's too late
_Boemgyu goes on the bed > Yeonjun follows him leaving a dirty shoe mark on the sheets
_Beomgyu is wearing a shirt with a smile on, he's aware and happy of the results he's achieved and is happy in the tomato mess on the floor
_Boemgyu tries to kill Taehyun because he found out about what he and Soobin are really doing
_Boemgyu is aware of everything, he even looks at the camera when everybody is watching TV. He's enjoying the disaster he's caused (the red screen), eating chips.
Soobin (aka the cat) might have taken control over Boemgyu, the camera even focuses on his eye

I realized
Im the nap of a star mv, they had unique characters and I think I know why.
//Soobin- he has problems with hearing because that's something they can't give him. They don't listen to him.
//Taehyun- has a problem with one eye because he is suspicious of soobin. Just like when a detective closes one eye to look at a magnifying glass.
//Beomgyu- His shoulder has thorns showing how he is controlled by his shoulders on what to do. Brainwashed to believe Taehyun is the liar.
//Hueningkai- He has wings because he is honest- he is not breaking their promise to stay together but his heart is broken because he feels alone since he's the only one with pure intentions within the friendship.
//Yeonjun- He has horns believing that it's his fault this is all happening. He's the oldest after all and he broke the promise (as said in the video)
Just a theory everyone probably know this already and im just mindlessly blabbering😂

In a comment, I read someone saying how

“TXT” looks like the TT cry face emoji and how the ‘X’ in the middle is the cry face no being able to speak/ their words being shut/ unable to express themselves/ keeping secrets from each other.

This could connect to the video’s theory on how soobin may be the one who is either the “liar”, and/or is the one who is suffering in secret because he can’t or doesn’t want to tell his friends how he feels/ them not being able to hear him because his emotions and words are silent (X).

This theory is kinda crazy sorry

Unrelated note:

I feel like the star is the monster doll. It's their promise and friendship. Their flaws is put on the monster, their happiness is always with the monster, when Taehyun has it or Yeonjun. When the promise was made, it created a doll like a object to remind their promise. But when the star fell asleep, the doll starts to take in the boys flaws, the star and the monster doll has something connecting them and it's the promise. The monster doll is kind of like the star? What's inflicted on them goes to the monster and then the star, their promise. Their fears, flaws and weaknesses ( Soobins ears, Taehyuns eye, Heuningkais heart, Beomgyu's shoulder and Yeonjuns neck) are hurting and pulling apart the group and the promise.

In can't you see me, the bear isn't there, so maybe their promise was left behind and the cat finally takes over them.

Edit: You and Bookish theories should collaborate with each other! I think you can together can sew in the pieces quite nicely, both your theories sounds real when put together.

Just wanted to point out, if you stop the video at 2:51, the scene where Hueningkai is looking at the ice cream but there seems to be something underneath it. Something like cake, idk. It is like saying beneath their sweet friendship underlies a dark truth. Just a thought cause that scene has been in my head for a long time

Soobin is lonely, right? At the end of Can’t You See Me, he is the only person who sings the last note..he ended the song alone.

I have a theory, but I haven’t been able to share it since I don’t have twitter, so hopefully someone will see this and think something of it.

Basically, in the “who’s a liar” part of the new choreo, everyone says that soobin and taehyun are the liars. I don’t think this is true. It maybe that taehyun just isn’t crossing his fingers as much or something, but it looks more like he’s making his fingers straight, like how you would if you made a gun with your fingers.

This to me immediately brought to mind the game mafia, with the promise sign (yeonjun, beomgyu, huening kai) as the civilians who are hurt and framed, the crossed fingers (soobin) as the mafia who is setting everything up, and the gun fingers (taehyun) as the police/detective, the only one who is able to tell “who’s the liar”. Another likely coincidence with the choreo is how in the first “who’s a liar” choreo, taehyun’s at the edge of the formation, unknowing of the “mafia”. During the second choreo, taehyun is next to soobin, as if he’s eliminated suspects, or even figured out that soobin is the mafia.

With taehyun as the police/detective, it makes sense how he’s the one related to clue, the one picking up the clues and figuring everything out. Also, the song is “Can’t you see me”, and we know that taehyun’s thing is with his eyes, the police in the mafia game is the only one with the ability to ‘see’ everyone, coincidence maybe?

Idk, random theory based on something that was probably a coincidence/accident in the choreo, but i thought it was interesting and wanted to share.

I have some theories too,

_In the chorus it says “My heart incinerated, come and feel me feel me” I think it’s like a way of saying come and feel my pain_

_In the same part incinerated means to destroy (something, especially waste material) by burning it. So they have somehow burned the heart, maybe along with the house. Maybe as to why Hueningkai’s heart was in pain in Nap Of A Star.

_Since Yeonjun is saying the line “Bad bad hope it’s just a painful dream” I think it is directed towards his guilt, to what he has done in the past music videos. He is hoping that he didn’t actually do that to his friends (TXT) in real life, hoping it is just some nightmare.
