Fun fact: Beomgyu HATES tomatoes so when he had to lay in a huge pile of them he was traumatized 😭

you're practically the only one who fully understood this music video and the meaning behind it, even people that had the subtitles on didn't even 100% get all the scenes. this song was actually inspired by yeonjun, one of the members, experience when he was a trainee where he had to switch to a different company and lost all of his friends at his old company so he felt extremely lost. bighit took this and made it fit the txt universe; so this is about friends who are really bad eachother and are slowly killing eachother because of this, but won't let go out of fear of being alone.

Here's a little theory about the MV. If u haven't know they have an amazing storline rather called the +U (TXT UNIVERSE). In this MV we can see Soobin(the owner of the house) had a fight with Taehyun (Red hair which I miss now btw) in the first scene where they rang the doorbell, it is clearly seen that Taehyun seem to not have any care(or like not being attentive) and we conclude that the two are fighting because they seem to not talk to each other. The reason why is because in the concept trailer make it short he felt left out.

This MV is dark I tell u. Also in the chorus the lyrics goes "Crumbled Castle, who's the liar?" in their choreography where they turn their back in saying "who's the liar" Soobin actually crosses his fingers 🤞 while the rest were raising only the pinky but we also see Taehyun does the same as well indicating that both of them is the liar.

Yeonjun(yellow hair) was the first one to notice that the Two(S and T) had a fight and that it's not a play anymore.

Kai (who ate strawberry while the rest where playing) was the person who barely notices something wrong in short he was the innocent one in the group.

And of course last is Beomgyu (wearing the smiley face t shirt) which in my opinion is the one who most likely to play the bigger parts here, why? Firstly if u noticed he was the one who initiated the strawberry/tomato fight not once but twice! During in the kitchen after the blender part and the scene where they are eating at the dining table. He was also the one who attempted to suffocate one of the members and the part where they're in the living room in the scene where he–Beomgyu looks at the camera creepily and coincidentally we see lights turn red not once but twice too(in the suffocating part)

Add on to that in the dining table scene after Beomgyu shoted a strawberry at Taehyun's shirt the three members laughed(as if it was a funny move but later on became serious) while Soobin just looked away with no reactions at all (try to watch it in slowmo to see)

The part where they said "save me" the same time looking at the camera indicating that they feel left out thus the title "can't you see me" and in korean it is translated to as "the night the world burned, we..."

And am pretty sure "friends don't understand me anymore" is a way off big clue

The fact is that soobin is a guy and in the mv when he was having that part of being alone that was actually about him hallucinating about his friends .. like he actually never had them ... It was just a mind play more like a hallucination of friends 🧍

Fun fact: “can’t you see me” is actually a reference to one of their song “nap of a star” where the first line is literally “i can see, even if you arent in front of me” and another line in the chorus of CYSM is “come and feel me” is a reference to the NOAS line “i feel you, even if you dont say a thing”

So yea basically Nap of a star (from their debut album) is where they all found each other and became friends, and all that “we complete each other” thing meanwhile CYSM is basically ten whole slaps in the face to that song
