So Rocksmith enjoy my playing! They asked me to take a look at their new game and see what i think to a new way of learning the guitar. The reason i made this channel was to help encourage more people into music, so lets see what this can do

What consoles or computers is Rocksmith available on?
The original Rocksmith is available on Xbox 360, PlayStation®3 system, and PC. The all-new Rocksmith 2014 Edition will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and for the first time, Mac.

Can I use my guitar with Rocksmith?
Most likely, the answer is yes. If your guitar has a standard 1/4" output jack for you to plug in the required Rocksmith Real Tone Cable, then yes, your guitar will work. If your guitar does not have a jack (for example, many acoustic guitars), you can go down to your local music store and buy a pickup, and your guitar will be ready to plug in and play.

Thanks Kent! I selected 1 down from it as i had never played Rock smith, but your right. it was WAYYYY to easy first time through but it soon picked up the difficulty after one song!

Haha yeh, i used to learn the intro's to everything but there is a heap to be learnt by taking one thing and getting all the way through it!

Love the clips Rex, they are the highlight to my rather dull week LOL. I can see myself spending some days on this game. I like both gaming and guitar, If I can combine both and learn to play too... then that's a winner for me.

I'm sure its on the website if your in the UK, i think its about £60 with the cable but all the info is on their website

I noticed a small amount of latency, probably 50-80ms. I read the instruction manual and there were some things in it that you can do to improve it. I think my resolution not he TV didn't match the ideal settings

Ive been told you can flip it so it displays the correct way :D

Do you mean the latency? or the actual shipping delay?

I have the original Rocksmith but still haven't got use to the way the notes are shown on the screen pretty confusing to me and I play the guitar. Anyway nice demo Rex:)

What's the delay like on the release

The video seemed a little too bright. Also songs started out at a pretty low difficulty looking at the video. Didn't you select "professional guitarist" when Rocksmith asked you how skillful you were at the very beginning of the game?
