Thank you JR and Jerry "the king" Lawler for keeping me and my brother sucked in the wrestling EVERY WEEK AS A KID!! We loved hearing yall call the matches as much as we loved Stone Cold and the Rock!

McMahon killed the golden goose when he ran Austin off. Should of never turned him heel the way they did

Stone Cold Steve Austin was only good during the attitude era/Monday night war. After WCW went under Stone Cold Steve Austin was a shell of his former self his injuries got the best of him and plus he didn’t want to do what he was told to do as a professional wrestler. He did not want to wrestle Hulk Hogan, which led to him wrestling the rock at wrestlemania 18 and he couldn’t face the fact that his time was up triple H, Brock, Lesnar, Kurt, angle edge Chris, Jericho, and other wrestlers were gaining momentum in 2002 and Stone Cold Steve Austin couldn’t face that fact that he was no longer number one. And on top of that, he beat up his former wife Deborah and the WWE covered it up. I’m not here to deny Stone Cold Steve Austin‘s rise to popularity, but in 2002 the writing was on the wall he was done and the WWE did not need him and this is why he walked out. Personally, I think he should’ve had his final match against hulk Hogan at wrestlemania 18 that would’ve been a great retirement match, but he didn’t feel like he needed to wrestle Hulk Hogan because he was a complete diva
