Any idea on how much it could cost to fix if it’s a leak? I’ve taken off my charcoal canister and tested it and it can get airflow, and changed my purge valve and gasket on my gas cap. So it’s probably the hoses but I can’t get to them all to check them

So I just want to be sure because I’m seeing conflicting information. I’m getting a lot of what you’re saying. That there’s no real effects of driving with an evap leak. Those same people tell me at worst there might be some downgraded fuel economy, and slight decrease in engine performance. On the other hand I’m seeing that it can cause engine damage and needs to be fixed immediately. It won’t cause any engine damage will it?

This code is on my vehicle. What if the engine starts idling funny and revving up 1000-1500 (extra) rpms than you're already going ? Lasts only seconds, sometimes doesn't do it for ages, then doing it over and over again. Help ! Driveable or no ?
