How to Use a Center Shader

If you're familiar with floral work, you probably have heard of the center shader tool. What makes a center shader unique is that it's a lined shader with a concave and a convex end. This tool is great for playing with shadows and adding a lot of depth to the center of your flowers.

You do such a great job of explaining these techniques. Your videos are really motivating. 👍🏻

You never thought of adding a picture of the tip of the chisel when you are describing it, that would help those of us who are new to this, since you don't see at any time what shape the tip of the tool you are using has. Excellent videos!

good stuff Daniel...we can also use this same concept for the middle of a compass on an old-timey map

Oooh. Great tips.
I haven't tried these types of flowers yet... I'm just kinda bumbling around, trying things through pure intuition 😅
Looks really good though. At some point when I can afford more stamp tools, this might have to be one of them
