Great details Joey, thanks so much for sharing and putting this all together. I'm still flying my GoPro Hero 8 which has been great to use but I've been looking at upgrading soon. The RC remote trigger to record straight from the MoBo / Flight controller chipset is an amazing integration. Proud of GoPro for finally acknowledging the FPV community and providing long anticipated updates. A new product release I'm excited about!

Great review but I have some tips regarding stabilization tools. Combining the hypersmooth footage with reelsteady stabilization is what's causing the awful jitters and smearing in the footage. I don't know why they recommended that you do that. Reelsteady needs the most information possible so the lower the crop the better. Hypersmooth will always be inferior to post stabilization because it's trying to do the same calculations but with less information. It has to predict what will happen in real time and stabilize based on that but reelsteady can look ahead in the footage and make sure the stabilization is consistent all the way through. Also, the more times that you stack these stabilization tools, the more motion blur that you get. Sometimes it becomes unusable because of that. Keep up the great work man
