Unfortunately for Karl, we’ll always have Pippen telling him “the mail isn’t delivered on sundays” and then Malone proceeds to miss key FTs in the Finals

As a player, he was good. As a person though, let’s just say he should stay far away from schoolyards.

Karl Malone and John Stockton are one of the most durable duos in NBA history.

To play 17 years at his position, with the physicality of the 90s and early 2000s, is amazing

EDP Malone is the greatest player to never win a ring

I know he’s widely disliked for non basketball reasons.

But how many players in NBA history can you name that have 2 MVPs, 14 all NBA teams, 4 all defense teams, 2nd all time scorer, etc?

Also a combined 4-0 in the playoffs against 2000s stars like Kobe, Duncan, Garnett and Shaq.

Did you know that in the 1980's, nobody took weightlifting as seriously as him?

40 year old Karl Malone shut down 28 year old Tim Duncan in the WCSF vs Lakers 2004

*Tim Duncan*
24.3 PPG on 58.8% vs Grizzlies 1st Round
20.7 PPG on 47.3% vs Lakers
17.5 PPG on 38.3% vs Lakers (last 4 games)

Karl Malone is the OJ Simpson of the NBA…ok they didn’t commit the same crimes but they’re both all-time great ringless athletes whose activities away from sports overshadow their careers.

My pops had a cousin who played with Scottie at UCA and he saw them go against Karl Malone and he will tell me to this day that Karl was the best player he’s ever seen play in person

4:12 He took weightlifting so seriously that Andy had to mention it twice in a row 😎

If shooting threes regularly were part of the game in his era than Malone would’ve had a great three point shot. The guy was an offensive machine, top 5 player in his era for sure

Him and Stockton were unstoppable in the pick and roll. A true defensive anchor of those 90’s jazz teams.

Truly tho for Karl Malone to play 17 years to play at this position with so much physicality in the 90s and 2000s is just astounding, it’s just unfortunate that he had to run into Michael Jordan In back to back seasons in the finals ..

As a player he was incredible! As human he is low-human-trash. PERIOD.

Amazing video as always but I'd have to swap Malone and Stockton in your analogy at the end.

Malone was the engine and Stockton was in the drivers seat

Karl Malone likes his career steals ranking, offensive rebounds ranking and all star teams selections just like he likes his women, 12, 13 and 14

As much I can say about Karl (13) I did respect his game and loved him on the lakers even though he was injury ridden.
