Karl Malone has been retired for over a decade. He's not under the NBA's jurisdiction anymore. All they can do is acknowledge him for his accomplishments on the court. Any alleged criminality he may have been involved with should go through the justice system first before the NBA does anything.

I heard about what Karl did as far back as when he was still playing. So it is odd to me for this to be presented now as if it is something that has been newly discovered and revealed.
