Lenovo's G580 is a good laptop for simple needs

You missed a very important spec, about the SPEED IN GHz of the processor, is it the 3230 or the 3210? At least you should provide those specs so anyone can look for benchmarks.

I actually have that laptop and am using it right now. I opted for the core i3 version and really think it's better than they make it out to be, although I am using linux instead of windows so performance isn't an issue.

I have the B575 and it cost $350 or so a year ago. It has the AMD Vision chip, is a 64 bit processor, and has Windows 7 Home Premium. It does fine though the battery life by now is less than 3 hours. Still, for homework, light gaming, surfing, and office it's a great computer. I don't mind buying Chinese at all. Lenovo is quality and that's what I aim for.

I have a 1366x768 lcd on my 11.6 inch MacBook Air... Shouldn't the 15 inch be like full 1080p?

I have two questions and one important question. I love this laptop so far and it has been good to me. I am wondering why the mouse is so sensitive? When I slightly rub my hand on the corner of the mouse that is built in my laptop it opens up 8 different apps, switches screens and exits out what I was typing or working on. It totally interferes with my work and total enjoyment of my laptop. There have been times where I am typing something on a forum like this asking or posting a statement. After an hour or fifteen minutes of typing deep thought everything deletes. This is not right, I have to type things off of Microsoft Word and then copy and paste my response to a forum like this. This ticks me off.

I am wondering if there is a way to take off the sensitivity of the mouse or lower the sensitivity of the mouse? If so may someone tell me? This is really annoying. Also what are all of the things that this laptop is capable of? I want to know the full power and capabilities of my laptop so I can know what it can and cannot do. Thank you
