For this Hummer, GMC should have gone for a Strong Hybrid version (maybe Diesel-Electric) instead of pure Battery-Electric. That would use far less batteries & save a lot on total vehicle Weight & Cost, while providing extended range (useful and practical for off-roading) & good mileage.

Well, I hope you have better luck off road in the desert than the guys at TFL had with their truck. The air ride compressor kept overheating. The front locker wouldn't engage, and it left them stranded at least twice with software issues. They actually purchased the truck, and has been testing it for the last 6 months.

I mean for a $105k it makes sense because in Cadillac Escalade V it’s $150k, so if they offer a Cadillac Escalade interior in the Hummer ev suv or pickup truck hummer ev it would cost a lot more than $105k

19 kWh charger means a 100 amp breaker. That means it's going to be pulling 80 amps for up to 8 hours straight! will it automatically back down if you're trying to cook on an electric range, c/a unit kicks on, or you turn the dryer on? If you have 200 amp service you're golden, 100 amp? Not so much... will just take longer to charge

The problem sometimes with people who come from gas vehicles their whole lives is they try to transfer that thinking to another medium. Inefficiency with gas vehicles. It's because sometimes I care about the environment and using a fossil fuel. If I'm charging my vehicle electrically and maybe using solar panels why do I even care? That's not my issue and I'm not going to make it my issue.
