I'm 73; I was introduced to spaceflight during President Kennedy's decade-long push to land a man on the Moon, when Neil Armstrong stepped down to take that One Giant Leap for Mankind about a week before my 20th birthday. I felt so excited I almost popped and was overwhelmingly proud to be an American, though unfortunately the latter was partly due to the Cold War contest with the USSR. Anyway the point is that while I watched your episodic report on the week's space development activities, it came to me that you had to speak rapidly during the 10 minutes to cover all the activities in it, which was something like several month's worth Back When. Also it covered activities of several spaceflight companies as well as NASA's, whereas NASA was the whole show then. Plus, we got to see much of this week's activities, whereas most of what we saw back in the '60's was Walter Cronkite's face reading reports, with occasional brief TV clips in B&W of some activity at Cape Canaveral (which was the whole show at that time) and an occasional shot of the massive Saturn V, sort of like a pre-workout pep drink so we could flex our biceps and feel very American. Now is definitively the time of The New Frontier for a second Space Race, but this time involving more of the world; and with somewhat cleaner principles of expansion and exploration by Humanity for our collective future's wellbeing.

Relativity wore me out yesterday. Those engines blowing blue rings and then shut down. Man. But orbit beats fireball. They will get it there.
Thanks, Lab.
