I want to be this extraordinary woman when I grow up, my God, to have a friend like that ! I lost my sister almost 20 years ago I haven’t found another that could take her place. RIP Mr. Lewis, RIP sis, you are both sorely missed.

So funny when she said there was another girl interested in John. We didn’t do competition back then. We got rid of her 😅

It's a shame when a man has to get his skull cracked just so he and others like him can have the same rights as the person who cracked his skull.
Thank you, Congressman Lewis.

Hey, she was still talking. To the life and inspirational actions of John Lewis. I hope to God there are many taking up those reins driving home powerful ideas with peace and definitely some of that good trouble.

If you can gather for a funeral you can go out and vote in November, If you can gather for a funeral you can open small businesses, If you can gather to protest you can go to a church. The laws do not apply to everyone equally.

Mr. John Lewis, Congressman first direct encounter with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr occurred in the summer of 1958, when he traveled to Montgomery to seek Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's help in suing to transfer to Troy State University, an all-white institution closer to his home. Mr. Lewis met with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Ralph Abernathy, and Fred Gray at Abernathy's Baptist Church, and they decided that would contribute their financial and legal assistant to Mr. John Lewis. However, Mr. John Lewis joined The Revolution of Martin Luther King Jr a/k/s the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) on May 16, 1962 Mr. Lewis valued Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, as the man who had ultimately set him on his life path. Mr. John Lewis is an American Colored Man who married a Jamaican women from New York, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, is an American Colored Man who married a West Indian women from Cleveland Ohio. Mr. John Lewis and Dr. Martin Luther King children are biracial. I hope their children will respect the intelligence, hard working nature, kindness, and the beauty of American Colored People!
