I can't believe how far you've come, Petko. Waaay back, you were in your apartment, with a few spiders. Now, you're married, have a daughter, a house, a garage, a business, and a Dark Den in the basement! 💛 That double enclosure is awesome!

I would just like to defend Petco regarding the apparent "stupidity" of the enclosure design. A few ppl commented that he always does these crazy things and then end up killing his animals and then making a sad video. Firstly I commend him for his ideas because he has a very creative mind and as such the idea of housing the 2 deadliest creatures together I think is brilliant and the enclosure design is also good, whether or not it should be improved we will see along the line like we did with his fossorial enclosures . How can we comment and say that something is not gonna work if nobody tried it first and Petco is a person who does not shy away from doing something first. Also how many spiders died in the care of other keepers before it was discovered that spiders don't work communally after all they do live communally in the wild or that certain substrates don't work with certain creatures. Unfortunately we learn through failure. Other keepers probably do crazier stuff than this but they don't show how they do it and when it goes bad they keep it quiet and then go preach to people about doing similar things. At least Petco shows his work both the good and bad and he has the integrity to admit when he made a mistake and then try to rectify it. So all in all thank you Petco for the videos I know you will keep an eye out in the new enclosure and change it if it looks like something is not working right. Always enjoy your content.

Hey Petko!
Fellow Deathstalker scorpion owner here, I highly recommend picking up a cheap USB black light for locating it in the enclosure. It just makes the scorpion pop out immediately, in my case. Plus its cool to show off to people.
edit: If you can catch the scorpion up against the glass and see its V shaped pectines, grab a photo of 'em with a nice camera and you can really easily count them and determine gender, iirc its like 26-30 for females and 34-38 for males. Its how I know mine is a lady.

The black sand looks sick! Using it in this setup was a good choice, in contrast with the scorpion and it also highlights the other half! Can't wait to see more of these enclosures in the Den.

At 10:46 The height of the middle glass which separates the spider from the scorpion is bit short . The scorpion can eventually climb to the spider side

The deathstalker is often found in sand areas, where the sand particles are smooth and rounded by the wind moving them around for thousands of years That volcanic sand seems a bit too sharp.

Another brilliant video petko 🙏 don't go worrying about the scorpion making any attempt to hop the glass. It's impossible. I've done tens of thousands of these setups. Had my first scorpion in 1972 and still collecting. Never ever ever will it climb over that gap
