Honestly I feel its actually a great console. Nintendo is never in competition with PS4 or Xbox. They always have a different approach. Thats what makes them stand out.

People knock the Wii U but the fun we have had with Splatoon, Mario Kart, Mario Party and so many other great Nintendo games has never had us regretting choosing it over other consoles and the same will be said for the Switch. Can't wait!

I love how console fanboys are going to comment and say how low this shit is compared to their consoles when Nintendo isn't even in the console war. The only reason it is there is because little kids take offended and get triggered & say how much better the Nintendo Console is & throw it in you wanna hear a secret....do at the end of the fucking day, it's all about the games

When the switch was kinda announced in 2k16, I asked one of my friends if he's heard about it. This was around when the trailer came out I just remembered. He didn't know about it so I told him it's a Nintendo console. The first thing he said was something like "It's terrible". The first thing I think was "Do you have one or something". You can't just declare that it's bad before it's even out. Many people are doing that and it's annoying. I hope it's huge and good just to spite the haters.

it annoys me how these consol fanboys are saying xbox one and ps4 are more powerful than the switch. Who cares honestly. Nintendo isn't trying to compete with Sony and Microsoft anymore. they're trying to do their own thing but some people can't understand that.

All you hardcore gamers saying it's shit because it doesn't have super specs and all that stuff, jst don't buy it, it's not a PC nor a home console looking to compete with Xbox one or PS4. It is not meant for you, but for casual gamers like me, who just wanna have fun with games, and trust me I will buy it!

The switch is the first console that can do something that a desktop PC cant which is obviously the dock and the controller pieces that can be taken off. Nice to see consoles innovating. PC is still better though

I don't think the switch will fail. I mean the trailer itself has 25 million views, and counting. Plus it was shown in Jimmy Fallon, and all the other YouTube's are saying good things (some bad) about the system. So yeah, the marketing is awesome for the switch so far.

I'm not a gamer at all but Nintendo definitely did a good job of pushing the community aspect of gaming. Rather than isolate the gamer inside of the game, which is what I think Playstation and Xbox have done, Nintendo wants to bring people together to have a fun time with friends. It's nice to see that the social aspect of gaming isn't lost.

The Wii U offered nothing special but the Switch looks fantastic. If they bring back retro games on the online store from the Nintendo 64/ Gamecube I'm sure people will love it even more.
